This analogy is disgusting Saw this comment on a TikTok I came across today. I’m sorry but this whole perspective of women that wear the hijab being a piece of “candy” that needs to be covered up is honestly just disgusting and dehumanizing. Treating women like objects to be unwrapped or “protected” like snacks is just so degrading. This gives the exact same mentality as the ‘what was she wearing’ argument during when talking about SA, shifting blame onto women instead of holding men accountable for their actions.
